The fountain does not have a quantifiable use. It serves the visual pleasure and with the element of water creates a natural ambience, giving a feeling of relaxation. The proposed fountain's cover derives from geometry. Following its existing form and conceptually extruding its original structure, protects the fountain. On one side it can be understood as a still image, a sculpture that welcomes and attracts the passersby. On the other side it functions as a precious bench that offers shading, provides seating and celebrates communication.

This design scheme consists of steel elements that ensure the stability and strength of the structure; with interlocking fixed timber partitions that allow for the overall structure to be habitable and gives the aesthetic texture to the organic volume.

Varying seating sizes from individual for the "shy" occupant to shared for the more "brave" challenges the public to take a seat and interact. The gaps in between the seating areas add to the continuity of the form and permits shadow alteration to occur during the day.
